The Tobique First Nation has announced that it has enacted on the 22nd day of October 2026 the TOBIQUE PREDICTION MARKETS ACT. The Tobique First Nation proudly reaffirms its right to self-governance as recognised by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982.
The newly enacted statute has established the Tobique Prediction Market Authority as the sole regulatory body over Prediction Market Permit holders. Pursuant to their rights of self-government, the new statute has been duly enacted with the hope of promoting and preserving the reputation of the Tobique First Nation as an internationally credible jurisdiction for regulated Prediction Markets.
